As of 1st April 2019, GABAPENTIN and PREGABALIN are being classified as Class 3 CONTROLLED DRUGS. You will need to bring photo ID with you to collect your Gabapentin and Pregabalin prescription from the Practice or Pharmacy. If you would like a representative to collect on your behalf, you will need to give your written permission (signed and dated) and we will need photo ID from them.
We accept requests for repeat prescriptions by post (an SAE is required if you need the prescription posted back to you) and personal visits to the surgery. We do not accept them by telephone, unless the patient is house bound.
Local pharmacies will often collect prescriptions from the surgery on behalf of the patient, prepare the medication and have it ready for collection by the patient. Some pharmacies will deliver to the homes of the housebound, disabled or elderly patients.
Prescriptions can be delivered to the following chemists in Ashford:
Boots; Paydens; Tesco at Park Farm and Willesborough; Shah's; Courts Co-op’s at Brookfield and Wye; Lloyds at Willesborough and Singleton, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Kamsons Bank Street and St Stephen, Delmergate Kennington.
Please note that we need at least 48 hours' notice for repeat prescriptions collected from the Surgery (please see below for guide times) and 72 hours if collecting from a chemist.
